Last night in Frankenberg (Mittelsachsen district), debris from the roof of a house fell onto an adjacent roadway. According to the police, who were contacted about the incident, the dilapidated building was actually scheduled to be demolished next week. The debris is currently causing a complete closure of Federal Highway 180. Traffic is being rerouted around the accident site. According to police, no one was injured. A decision on whether the house will now be demolished ahead of schedule is expected later today. Police, firefighters, and the THW responded to the scene.
