An accident involving several vehicles occurred on the Autobahn 17 towards Dresden on Monday morning. The tunnels from the Czech Republic to Germany were temporarily closed, according to the police. At around 5.30 a.m., police were called to the scene of the accident just before a highway parking lot at Am Heidenholz. Trucks were also involved in the accident.
One person was injured. The traffic jam caused extended to just beyond the Czech border. Further details on the cause of the accident and the injured person are not known.
