The American cellist Yo-Yo Ma, the Greek violinist Leonidas Kavakos and the Polish-born American pianist Emanuel Ax will be performing for an intermezzo at the Dresden Music Festival. According to the artistic director, the "trio of superlatives" will perform together on September 2 at the Kulturpalast in the city on the Elbe. Under the motto "Beethoven for Three", the world-class musicians will present trios and symphonies by the famous composer. Ma, Kavakos and Ax have already appeared as soloists at the music festival several times and will now be performing together in Dresden for the first time.
