With the rising temperatures, many festival fans are looking forward to good music, camping and partying. These major festivals will take place in Saxony in 2024:
Traditional jazz at the Dixieland Festival in Dresden
Fans of jazz, blues, boogie and swing will get their money's worth at the festival for traditional jazz, the international Dixieland Festival in Dresden. From May 12 to 19, more than 45 bands and soloists from more than ten nations will perform on around 40 stages throughout Dresden. Venues include the Kulturpalast, the zoo, the airport and the Hofwiese beer garden. Tickets are currently still available for almost all events. However, the festival also offers numerous free open-air concerts. Last year, around 340,000 visitors attended.
