Original costumes and real props: The traveling exhibition about the famous young magician with the scar will be visiting Dresden in the coming months. Fans can also become active themselves.

Magic you can touch: The international Harry Potter exhibition has opened its doors in Dresden. Visitors can take a look behind the scenes of the Harry Potter franchise and relive the most iconic moments and locations, according to the organizers.

Original costumes and props from the Broadway production "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" are on display. There are also famous scenes from the four houses of Hogwarts, such as the floating candles in the Hall of Moving Portraits or Hagrid's hut with its oversized chair.

Choosing a Hogwarts house and wand

According to the organizers, visitors will receive a wristband at the start of the exhibition. They can use it to choose a Hogwarts house, a wand and their own Patronus, among other things. At each interactive station, they can collect points for their house - more precisely for Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin.

The traveling exhibition about Harry Potter will be on display at the Erlwein Forum in Dresden until May 3, 2026. Tickets start at around 30 euros for adults and 25 euros for children. In Germany, the international exhibition has already been shown in Munich.
