More than just films: The Neisse Film Festival also has concerts and a reading in its program this year.

The Neisse Film Festival in the border triangle of Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic will present around 100 current feature films, documentaries and short films from the three countries and Eastern Europe in May. In addition to three competitions, various film series are also planned from May 20 to 25, the festival announced.

Under the title "Crossing Borders", the festival's focus series is dedicated to the topic of borders this time. The supporting program includes a reading with travel writer Andreas Altmann and three concerts. For the 22nd edition of the festival, 20 cinemas along the Neisse and on both sides of the border have been selected.

The festival awards ceremony will take place on May 24 in Zgorzelec, Poland. This will be followed by a big festival party at the Kunstbauerkino Großhennersdorf. The complete festival program will be published in mid-April.
