What could be the motto for the "Day of the Saxons" in 2027? The Saxon State Chancellery announced that suggestions for the motto of the largest folk and club festival in Saxony can be submitted until April 26. The "Day of the Saxons" will take place next year from June 18 to 20 in Plauen. The last time the festival was held in Sebnitz was in September 2025.
"Tag der Sachsen" comes to Plauen for the second time
The festival is coming to Plauen for the second time in 2027 after 30 years. "Plauen has many faces" was the motto in 1997.
Lars Krämer, Head of Staff for "Tag der Sachsen" in Plauen, explains that the day should be a celebration for everyone. "We would therefore like to invite the people of Plauen to actively contribute their ideas, suggestions and tips to the preparation and organization of the three days of festivities," he said. The first opportunity to do this is already available with the motto search.
