This year's national library prize goes to Dresden. The award is endowed with 20,000 euros.

The Dresden Municipal Libraries are the "Library of the Year 2025". They received the national library award for their participatory work in the 20 locations, as announced by the German Library Association. The award is endowed with 20,000 euros. The prize will be awarded on October 24 on the nationwide Day of Libraries in Dresden.
