The exhibition on British street art superstar Banksy was already on show briefly in Dresden during the coronavirus pandemic and is now returning to the Saxon state capital. From 19 December, the show "The Mystery of Banksy - A Genius Mind" can be seen at the Erlwein Capitol on the Ostra site, as the organizers announced. Reproductions of more than 200 Banksy works will be on display.
The identity of Banksy has remained a mystery to this day. He first became famous for his street art in the UK and later internationally. According to the organizers, the unauthorized exhibition "The Mystery of Banksy" has now been viewed by around 3.5 million visitors worldwide. It can be seen in Dresden until March 29, 2026.
