More than 8,500 people visited the Ibug street art festival in Riesa this year. In addition, more than 400 schoolchildren took advantage of the educational week offered as part of the festival, according to the organizers. The temporary exhibition could be seen over the past two weekends in the former Muskator factories.
The organizers are satisfied with this year's edition, according to the press release. "This Ibug was a particular challenge for us, especially because of the short lead time," said Ibug board member Martin Langhof. The decision for Riesa was only made a few weeks before the creatives arrived. "Our all-volunteer team therefore had to invest a lot of energy and time to ensure that everything was ready in time."
