A total of 143 entries were received for the Saxon "Competition for Popular Music". Until April 4, Saxon musicians, clubs and live music venues were able to apply in five categories. In the coming weeks, the submitted entries will be reviewed by a committee. The best 26 projects will be awarded prizes on June 6, as announced by the Saxon State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Transport. A total of 70,000 euros in prize money is available.
