Car transporter overturned near Plauen - A72 closed

A truck with several vehicles on board has left the road on the A72 near Plauen (Vogtlandkreis) and overturned. The highway was closed at the Plauen Süd junction in the direction of Leipzig after the accident at midday, according to the police.

According to the city of Plauen, the van was carrying eight vehicles. Operating fluids were leaking after the accident. No further details were initially known. It was also unclear whether there were any injuries. According to the police, an ambulance is on the scene.
