Erzgebirge Aue bring in Jamilu Collins for the defense

Third-division soccer club FC Erzgebirge Aue finally want to get out of the basement with the Bundesliga-experienced Jamilu Collins. The violets signed the 31-year-old. He was most recently under contract with Welsh club Cardiff City. He has 270 professional soccer matches on his CV, including 30 Bundesliga and 78 second division games for SC Paderborn.

The Nigerian-born left-back is expected to stabilize FC Erzgebirge's defence. There has been a lack of quality there since Moritz Seiffert's injury. The final necessary signings are due to arrive next week, meaning that Collins will then be eligible to play.
