First the managing director of communications has to go, then the one responsible for sport. Now there is an interim solution in the management of Dynamo Dresden.

Following the departure of Head of Communications David Fischer in June and Head of Sport Thomas Brendel this week, Dynamo Dresden have appointed a second acting manager in Jürg Kasper. This was announced by the second division soccer club. The 56-year-old Kasper, who is resigning from his position on the club's supervisory board with immediate effect, will temporarily support managing director Stephan Zimmermann in the commercial area. At the same time, Zimmermann will temporarily take over the club's sporting duties following Brendel's resignation.

Kasper's role as managing director is a temporary appointment to ensure the club's ability to act, the statement continued. "We would like to thank Dr. Jürg Kasper for his willingness to take on further responsibility for our club in order to master this phase of transition together. With over ten years of experience on the club's supervisory board, he has the necessary knowledge of important day-to-day business issues as well as the strategic tasks ahead," said Dynamo's supervisory board chairman Jens Heinig.
